I agree with the other review that the villa, gardens and surroundings are beautiful and well-equipped. There were 4 adults and 3 children in our party, all of us very comfortable and with plenty of space. Pollença is very pretty and we explored further afield a few times, which again, was very attractive. |We had a lovely holiday all in all, but there were a few problems that unfortunately soured our experience, and mean we won’t return (despite feeling the opposite at first). The water stopped 3 times - we couldn’t even flush the toilets. A plumber/handy man was sent round fairly quickly each time so we were never without for more than a few hours, but still, it became quite uncomfortable for a few of us! |Then, without warning, the owner turned up to show some visitors around the villa! We stopped them from entering, but they stood in the driveway talking for ages. Having children present meant we were not happy about random strangers’ presence, for obvious reasons.|The worst problem we had was that all 3 children and 1 of the adults came away with ear infections from the swimming pool. Our 11 year old suffered with that all the way home to the UK, and was screaming in agony at certain points, it was very distressing for us all. The pool was only cleaned once in 2 weeks - on the day we left. |And finally, due to a massive error on Tui’s part (who were completely useless in helping us during or after), we were forced to vacate the villa a day early. The owner turned up again with an entourage. She was not only unsympathetic, but rude and dismissive. She wanted us out within an hour and that was that. Worse still, was that in our panic to pack up all of our luggage, etc, and get showered and changed, the owner and her entourage continued to walk around the villa and grounds, at one point standing outside the bathroom window where I was showering - the blinds didn’t properly cover the window, causing me much embarrassment. The cleaners, who were lovely, looked apologetic and embarrassed for us - it’s a shame their employer didn’t have the same integrity.|Like I said, mostly it was a lovely holiday. Mallorca, Pollença, the villa and gardens are gorgeous. But the owner’s lack of respect, care or responsibility were a huge disappointment. We won’t return - or use Tui again.

Getting to the villa, beware of what hire cars are provided as part of your package with TUI, you will absolutely need to upgrade your vehicles as only a basic car was provided apparently! For 7 people we were offered a fiat panda or a Vauxhall corsa! And it’s the law in Mallorca that all luggage must be in the boot. Go for an automatic car as well, it’s one less thing to worry about when driving. The directions to the villa were easy to follow, heading north to alcudia on the MA13 (motorway) then eventually you will see signs to pollensa, and arrive at a roundabout with a large cockerel in the middle, 2nd exit off here on the ma2202 and it’s just past the 1km road marker the next driveway. ||We had a fantastic week at this villa, it’s traditionally Spanish, well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, fridge freezer. Towels provided for bathroom and pool. |Welcome pack with some local food and wine, a couple dishwasher tablets and washing liquid, we met the owners and they were both friendly and welcoming, and we were able to leave our cases in a room whilst we went off and did our shopping because we were early. ||Air conditioning was very welcome in the bedrooms. Plenty of space inside and out, the gardens are very well maintained, the pool is looked after daily by the owner, plenty of space to park two cars. Lots of sitting areas, dun loungers fabulous plants, and grass, outdoor shower was better than the indoor showers and more practical.|The end shower room in the bedroom next to the kitchen was very small but ok when you got inside and was actually a nice shower, unfortunately was prone to fruit flies everywhere, but at least they didn’t bite like the mosquitoes! Take repellent!! And use the burning rings ||The walk to pollensa village is literally 22 minutes to the roundabout, there is no pavement and sometimes a little busy with traffic, but generally not too bad. Make sure you visit on a Sunday as there is a market on with a fabulous atmosphere. If you decide to conquer the 365 steps, you will be rewarded with a wonderful vista right down to puerto pollensa, you can see the sea! There is a cafe at the top that sells water, it took about 15 mins to reach it. |Plenty of restaurants and cafés available, if you choose one on the square it will be a more premium price than one on a side street. All the food we had was excellent in every restaurant. |There is a Lidl or Euroski supermarket not far from the villa, but the local food hall in Pollensa was amazing Aromat. ||You have to dispose of your own rubbish in local bins so bear in mind when sorting the recycling. ||Taxi’s can’t be booked until you want it unless travelling more than 50km eg airport. But are readily available and speak good English (as did everyone to be fair)||Puerto pollensa is about a 15 minute car journey, if you turn right out of the Villa it’s a road directly forward to the coast, beware lots of cyclists and it avoids the main roads, again no pavement. ||Formentor beach is the best beach on the island, a very narrow sandy stretch and the sun beds are a premium price €35 for 2 beds and one umbrella, in comparison to puerto pollensa €15 for the same. I’d personally avoid driving this route again as so many cyclists, busses, cars and sheer drops and hairpin bends €19 to park for the day as well, we are glad we did it, but found out after that there is a boat ferry available from the marina. ||We would definitely use this villa again

This villa has total rustic Spanish charm. It is in the most beautiful gardens and pool with stunning views of the mountains from just about every angle. There are many personal touches and it feels really home from home. The couple who owned the villa popped by to greet us, and are very lovely. ||||We were 6 adults, so utilised all of the 4 bedrooms. We were there in July during a bit of a heatwave, so the pool was very welcome. We shared two hire cars (don’t get us started on that - TUI were an absolute nightmare about it.Despite having basic hire car included in the package, it was deemed appropriate to give us 2 Fiat 500s, so we could have got to the villa if we had been prepared to leave our luggage at the airport, 60km away! We were forced to pay more just to get us and our luggage in, so watch that if you have a hire car included). ||||The road to the villa is a little windy and very fast, so although close to Pollensa, you wouldn’t want that level of excitement by trying to walk it. ||||If I was being really picky, I’d say the damp is noticeable in the bathrooms, and the master bedroom smells quite strongly, so a little maintenance is needed here, but there was lots of hot water, the air con in the bedrooms worked a treat, but really could have done with it in the kitchen and lounge areas. A few new mugs wouldn’t go amiss. ||||If you a have a problem, it is a bit challenging. We were unable to access the laundry area. Unfortunately, No contact numbers are provided, so we were lucky the owners stopped by. We tried to contact TUI, but they were totally unresponsive to calls and e-mails. (this is the second time we have travelled with TUI and they have been totally useful on both occasions. At least we didn’t have high expectations this time. We won’t be travelling with them again!).||||I’d go to this villa again, just not with TUI ?

We spent a wonderful week here with the whole family. The villa was equipped very well and we lacked for nothing. The beds were comfortable and we all had enough bathrooms that no one was squashed at all . There were eleven of us and at one time fourteen. We were never on top of each other . For a big party it was absolutely excellent. The outside was magical for us all. The pool was fabulous, the garden beautiful and very safe( we had a one and two year old) so the playground was well used as was the table tennis by the older children. The location of the villa was excellent and there were wonderful views from every aspect. The owner and his helper were excellent and extremely helpful. We had a problem (nothing to do with the villa) and they helped us sort it out very quickly. Its the best villa I have ever rented in every aspect and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Beautifull villa a short drive (5 mins) from pollenca old town or Puerto Pollensa beach. Lovley large pool with well kept gardens and lawn for kids to play on. Inside the villa is clean with a traditional feel. We had a great 2 weeks here and have already booked 2 weeks for next year.

First the area, if you like the desolate beach bum||vibe this is the place for you, sa marina has no||shops, no bars ,litter strewn streets a rocky kelp||covered beach and a mosquito riddled swamp they||call the nature reserve. The area is serviced by 1||bus stop where there's always plenty of company on||the bus as they are filled to capacity from pollentia||so prepare for the 1.2km walk up the hill either by||the fast road or by the car dodging back road. If||you do see a cab give them a wave as they love to||wave back at you in their rear view mirror.||We stayed at Villa Ibiza on calla Tintoretto with it's||beautiful views of the mountains through the haze||of mosquitoes feeding on us. When we arrived we||found gate handle broken and the second gate||locked from the inside, once we gained access by||climbing the fence we passed the pool table that||had no cues and the table tennis table with no bats||and two broken balls and into the Villa. After||figuring out the air on we chilled into our holiday, It's||fun figuring out how things work with no manuals,||guessing where the missing cupboard doors went||and how much the owner spent on silicone sealant||to hold the kitchen together. Of course we||contacted our booking agent "Mallorca villas||selection" by phone, message board and email||over the next few days to try and resolve the issues||and also to ensure they were aware we were not||responsible for the damage we had arrived to. They||were most helpful by not bothering us on our||holiday with reply's or assistance, even when one of||our party cut their hand on the broken gate they||respected our privacy. To conclude don't go here,||it's a sh*t hole where you'll get eaten alive and||ignored by the management.
