Apparently it has recently changed it's name but I was there in October 2022. Firstly I have to say I enjoyed the stay with my extended family. There were many good points but some serious flaws too. Let's start with the positives. A really nice pool, plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The provision of utensils for self catering was very good. Plenty of pots, pans glasses and plates etc. Enough to ensure the dishwasher only went on once a day. As to the flaws, I put that in the context of it being late in the season, however that does not excuse most of the problems. Firstly, and most seriously the beds, They were clean but absolutely uncomfortable. One of the grandchildren was in tears at not being able to sleep. We all suffered bad sleeping due to the size and more importantly the condition, of the mattresses. The cleaning also left something to be desired, ashtray full of old cigarette butts unemptyed; and a discarded pack of facial wipes found in our bedroom. The freezer was actually rusty and really looked unhygienic. To add to our poor experience there was no hot water available on our arrival, we contacted the company and was sorted quickly but it failed again within 24 hours. Cold showers in October are not a pleasure. Although advertised for 8 people the inside table would not accommodate more than 6. There was a larger table outside but that had not been cleaned and was covered with bird droppings. This took considerable effort to make useable. The shower cabinet glass was cracked and mended with some sort of tape.
